Stuck --FINAL, poster sized.

This took FOREVER.
Dear GODS.

First there was drawing it out and making sure they had the right proportions compared to each other.

And then there was coloring it. While coloring it, the picture was twice as big as you see it here.


THE SYMBOLISM. Yeah. A lot here. Sorta a lot. Yeah.

This came to mind after watching recent episodes in which the Kikyou-conflict-love-triangle seems to be growing tenser as Inuyasha and Kagome's feelings for each other grow stronger. So...I have them here, back to back, unable to truely face/approach each other with their feelings. And yet, they're holding hands because they can't abandon the other or their feelings either. They're...well...stuck.

The mixture of dust and golden light represent the fact that their relationship isn't perfect...but it's still a ^true^ relationship. There's real love there...not just some teenager's crush. That's why it's golden.

Their hair sorta intertwining together has to do both with them being ^stuck^ and with how they're implied soul mates. (I mean, come on. He falls in love with the reincarnation of his first love...what else can that mean?)

...SO yeah. I was going for something sad but sweet...and I actually kinda like the product.
