Ineffable Kiss

Watercolor, pencil, a little ink, and a lot of experimenting. I feel like I'm re-learning watercolor.

Laney Reid, an affable but ostentatious young college student, spent a pleasant afternoon dressing up to cam-whore in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. She probably had Dallon taking the photos.

Her poses were mostly artificial facebook fair, but this particular shot came out pretty well. Her plastic stance softened into something genuinely natural as her mind wandered off somewhere. Jersey reckoned there was ghost haunting her in the picture, but not everybody seemed to see it. When asked about it, Laney would fidget for a while before throwing her hands up and declaring it, "too hard to explain."
