OVER. Deadline waaay past. You may keep making them, but they're not going to be catalogued...if and until I decide to host a second volume of Character IS.

Then, was bored so I told him to make an “Inuyasha Is.” He did. [link]
volunteered a third and hilarious installment titled “Sesshoumaru Is” [link]


has confirmed that she will do a “Kouga Is.”


The idea has also traveled into other fandom.
has been pondering doing a “Christine Is” for Phantom of the Opera.


So…that got me thinking, “We should make this a deviantart project!”
After all, there are a lot of characters out there that are abused by fandom…not just Kagome! It’s fun (and a great way to vent). The result is funny for everybody else…so why not invite EVERYBODY to do the same thing with characters they know, love, and have seen abused.



As a result…the “Character Is” project is OPEN.

Rules and guidelines:
You can do this for as many characters as you want.
You can do the same character as somebody else. Your entry will still be listed. HOwever, it will be competeing with the other entries of the same character to get a panel pasted into the Final Showcase.(See next paragraph)
When you finish the picture and post it, please link to this journal in the description.



After a few months, I may make a deviation listing most of the different completed character is entries with chibis and links, and I'll need your written consent… It'll be kind of like what I did for ~Kurokiba here :thumb33029702:
Why only most? I wouldn't be surprised if there were multiple entries for characters such as Sasuke. All entries will be listed in this journal and in the Showcase's description, but :kurokiba: and I will have to pick one favorite panel for each character when I make the final project Showcase deviation.

Format:
It should be pretty much the same format as Kagome Is. Three columns that read up to down. The first picture in column one should state the character’s name and role in society. The next three should address the character’s IC reaction to common AU absurdities. The first picture in the second column can address whatever you want. The first picture in the third column should depict the character’s love interest/s or lack thereof. The pictures under it should show the character’s reaction to all the crazy slash pairings.
The top three pictures should be nice, but the bottom nine can be more simplistic and silly.
You don't have to follow this format exactly, but try to stay close to it.
