Stuck-- Inuyasha and Kagome

Verreh symbolic. Critique me. If you just wanna read the symbolism and skip my rant, go to the second paragraph. u..u

This took FOREVER cuz it was SO big. I used three sheets of 8x11 for it. Also, I think I'm either in the middle of an art block, or I shouldn't try drawing figures in such a large size anymore. I had the toughest time with the proportions, even though I've drawn profiles with ease SO many times before. *makes a fuss* And then there was making sure they wre the right size compared to each other as far as height, arm length, and hand size... I kept having to fiddle with the sizes of this and that in photoshop after I scanned it. Maybe I'm too perfeconistic. Oh...and I hate the folds. They look so crappy...especially on his sleave.

Anyway...I was watching some recent episodes...raw stuff that I'd already read in the manga. It was depressing, man. So I drew this. It has to do with the fact that Inuyasha and Kagome can't confront each other directly with their feelings because of the ensuing Kikyou conflict. And yet, even though they have doubts and worries, they can't stop caring for each other. They're stuck. That's why they're back to back, holding hands.
