I dare you all...to take a step back, and stop being all political about everything. People are getting so worked up. It's goofy.
I feel bad for Jark, but I don't think he wants people to quit deviantart because of what's happened.
So yeah. That's what my previous "He wants you" picture was about, but it seemed few people got it. x--x

I've read all of it, and both sides are full of propaganda. I don't know what to think, so I'm not making any big judgments about either side.
This 'make popular artists more popular' bit is a misinterpretation that people seized and spread around. When I read those 'scaling the deviants' journals, it seemed to me that he was talking about how popular people had become popular so far. He was pointing out what all the popular people had in common, and what they had done to become popular. Basically..."Hey. If you want to be popular, try doing what these popular artists did. Be active, submit polished work frequently, and have a lot of the work be unique." He was giving tips to anybody that was struggling to get noticed.
If I'm thinking of the wrong journal, then please show me where he talked about a plan to make popular people more popular.
Making popular people more popular is not part of "The Company's " evil scheme.
What they HAVE done wrong is discharging Jark+founders so suddenly and without explanation.

Neither side will give answers. They just give noble sob stories...beating around the bush with propaganda.
I must admit, I lean more towards Jark’s side of the story…and I appreciate all that he has done for deviantart.

With so much propaganda floating around, I don't think it is wise for people to let themselves get so worked up about all this. Nobody really KNOWS the truth. Until I know the truth, I'm not going to get my panties all tied up in a knot. I'm not going to promote the destruction of the deviantart community by joining one side or another. Yes....deviantart is splitting, tearing apart into two feuding factions. Instead, I'll continue doing my best to support the WHOLE community…the community I found when I first got here. I'll do my best to keep posting things people smile at, and to keep commenting on others' work.
