When I looked at this, I felt very peaceful.... just looking at his expression, and his posture and the surroundings, it's all set up for some very lovely scenery. I just want to imagine myself into the scene with him, and figure out what's making him smile like that... it's like he's saying he's happy with his life, or just with today, because something's making everything all right. Maybe it's Kagome, or the knowledge that he's travelling on a gorgeous day through the middle of a nowhere forest with his friends and (currently) not a care in the world. The sun is shining, the leaves are just the right green to be pretty and the breeze is just right. My life has been stressful lately, and this little bit of calm and tranquility is really refreshing.
