Here's the completed piece...at least...I think it's complete. You all know me. I go back and find something I'm dissatisfied with. Tweak tweak. Ah well.

The girl that's sitting is my character, Dew. The girl whose arms and legs are fading into waterfalls is Waterfall. ^u^
Dew is scattered, dainty, everywhere. Waterfall is forceful but soothing, and protective.

They never should have fallen in love. Water spirits should fall in love with Earth spirits. An unlikely pair that makes something beautiful and sparkling when they come together.

Yes, I KNOW they're both girls. Jude likes shojou ai, and I'm bi...so I like shojou-ai too. So hush.

Probably spent somewhere around 20-30 hours on this. Photoshop 6.0, and a very loose pencil sketch underneith.

This is for Jude He has supported me, protected me, laughed and cried with me for a long time. For a year of that time, we've been a couple now. (Our anniversary was the 10th of last month...and I'm finally done with the last of my gifts to him.) Sometimes I take him for granted...but he never takes me for granted. He care for me more than anybody else in the world...I have no doubt. I often find that it's hard to believe that someone so scattered like me could end up with somebody so wonderful, so selfless. I hope that I can keep making him happy.
This is not the full picture, either. It's quite cropped. The full picture is reserved just for Jude. You guys get the cropped version for prints, though. ;

Anyway...I love you Jude. I love you more than I've ever loved anybody else....and I hope that we happily stay together forever.

EDIT: Somebody wished that they could see the picture larger so that they could see the skintones better, but that would make it so you couldn't take in the composition. So...I played around and added close-ups on the side. I ended up with something that was almost the size of a wallpaper, so I went ahead and made it another wallpaper. eue;;;

The print of this will not have the close-ups on the side....it'll just be the regular picture.

EDIT #2: Okay, people were all like, "Why's the print different from the picture?" so I have gone back and cut out the closeups on the side...so now it's back to not being a wallpaper. x---x Graafragah. So if you REALLY want close-ups, you'll have to live with the SUPER-HUGE, less developed wallpaperish thingy here: [link]
