Sick of Chains and Spam
IrritatedThe most recent impetus: another chain.
If you receive anything titled, "Re: virus thingy(important)" either ignore it or tell the person who sent it to you not to fall for that kind of thing again.
Below you can read the note an my rant on why it's full of crap, if you want. I am including this because a lot of people DID fall for the chain, and others may yet fall for it and future chains. Perhaps with a scrutinized example it may be easier to spot them.
This was the chain:

That's dumb. DA doesn't work like facebook or myspace. When somebody Devwatches me, I don't accept or approve it. It just happens. Nor am I required to watch somebody in order for them to watch me. This 'virus warning' describes something that is not deviantart.
This is just an obnoxious chain and it's obviously full of crap.
Please don't fall for crap like that...please carefully read over and analyze the notes that tell you to tell everybody else.
There were 5 people listed just on mine as having previously sent something. And that's just the chain that reached me. If they had only looked at the text and thought about it, they would have realized how it does not accurately conform to the way deviantart works.
Thanks for dealing with my rant, particularly if you're already wise to all this.

I'm contacting you because I'm trying to find an artist that would be open to doing some concept character art and or even some story board sketches.
I'm a writer not an artist, I wish I was.
I've written a script for an animated adventure.
I'm trying to organize a open source project for an animated film.
It seems that many blender artists are interested in the project.
But first I need to organize some pre-production.: concept art,character art. story boards, just quick sketches so that the 3d animators are all on the same page as far as what the animation will look like.
Would this be a project that you'd be interested in?
And to make it clear this would be an open source project.
If it would be something that you are interested in, I can send you the script.
